The Baby-Sitters Club Wiki

All the Children of the World or All the Children for short, is a band that many of the BSC charges perform in, either singing or playing an instrument. It was first started by Claudia Kishi.

History[]

After Claudia baby-sits for The Rodowskys, she wants to come up with a musical project for the kids they sit for because the Rodowsky boys had expressed interest in doing so. She introduces this idea to the other BSC members at a meeting, and they like the idea. Initially, the band consists of the Perkins girls, the Rodowskys, Jamie Newton, Charlotte Johanssen, the Hobarts, and the Pike kids.

One day Jackie Rodowsky suggests the band needs a name, and comes up with All the Children, short for All the Children of the World. The others eventually agree.

They rehearse at Jamie Newton's house because his mom gave them permission to use their electric keyboard and back porch. They wear a uniform of jeans and red shirts suggested by Nancy Dawes. They play and sings songs from Fiddler on the Roof, a popular children's musical with songs such as Anatevka and Tradition. They ask for donations for t-shirt money. Their concert is a huge hit.

The band only appears in Keep Out, Claudia!
