Biography[]

In Mallory and the Trouble with Twins, the girls have trouble with people telling them apart. Marilyn, Carolyn, and Mallory confront her mother about wanting to be treated as individuals rather than the same. They communicate in a nonsense twin talk to annoy the baby-sitters calling them the same. Mallory teaches them pig Latin.

Marilyn, Carolyn, the Rodowsky boys, and the Braddocks send nice anonymous notes to the BSC. They treat them to a surprise lunch at Rosebud cafe for being great babysitters in Claudia's Freind Friend. Marilyn and Carolyn go to the spring dance at the community center with two of the triplets.

Marilyn and Carolyn are frightened by Horrorville movies until they see the making of the special effects. They decided to make their movie called The Twins Who Mutilated Their Baby-sitter in Claudia and the World's Cutest Baby.

In Abby and the Mystery Baby Marilyn, Carolyn, Becca Ramsey, and Charlotte Johanssen put on a play about photosynthesis for the writers month event that the BSC put together. They won first place.

Both girls are briefly seen in Karen's Twin with the Terri and Tammy Barkan, playing with Audrey Green and Karen Brewer.

In Dawn and the Surfer Ghost, Marilyn and Carolyn practice gymnastics together. Their parents got them new equipment. Carolyn badly sprained her ankle when she tried to land a back walkover. She was rushed to Stoneybrook General Hospital and got her ankle wrapped. Marilyn promised to never leave her side again and followed her around acting as a nurse. Eventually they separated to do different things with their friends. By the end of the book the two were fighting, but neither could remember why.
