Caroline Bradley is the seven-year-old niece of Ms. Colman. Caroline is from Oregon and makes a visit to go to her aunt's wedding. She only appears in Karen's Wedding.
Biography[]
Karen Brewer notes that Caroline has dark hair and that she's shy. According to Ms. Colman, she is very quiet and sweet. Caroline hasn't seen her aunt in over a year.
Caroline mentions that she likes animals and dolls; she also likes to ride horses and plays the piano. She's asked to play at the recital and does it when she pretends the audience is there. She only gets a little afraid when the audience claps.
When Karen feels guilty about being the flower girl, she talks with Caroline about being co-flower girls. Initially Caroline doesn't want to do it because she gets stage fright. She later decides to join in.
At the end of the book she and Karen become pen pals. She also has another pen pal with a boy named Jose that lives in Miami.
