The Baby-Sitters Club Wiki

Dr. Reese is a therapist that Mary Anne Spier sometimes sees. She is first mentioned in The Baby-Sitters Club Chain Letter.

Appearance[]

Her standard uniform is a polo shirt, sweater, and chinos (pretty preppy). She seems barely old enough to be a doctor, especially when she pulls her dark brown hair into a ponytail.

Biography[]

She helped Mary Anne a lot when she felt messed up. Mary Anne visits Dr. Reese again after Amelia Freeman's death to help her adjust. Dr. Reese also knows Mrs. and Mr. Freeman in Mary Anne and the Memory Garden.

She is addicted to hot chocolate. Claudia gives Dr. Reese's number to Sean, a boy who sends in a personal ad regarding his parents' break-up. He sees her and sorts some things out in Claudia and the Perfect Boy.

Claudia gives her number to George Hewitt, who calls into WSTO regarding his parents' divorce in Claudia Kishi, Live From WSTO!

She works in a new medical office building at the end of Main Street that is shared with several dentists and an optometrist. Her waiting room is designed to make you feel safe and comfortable. It has dark green carpeting and leather chairs, along with the mahogany desk and bookshelves make it look more like a living room then a waiting room. Her office is more like an old-fashioned sun-porch. She has a chaise lounge upholstered in a cabbage rose pattern. She has a wing-backed chair covered in flower chintz and a wicker coffee table as well.
