Biography[]

Grandmother Madden signed her name as Grandmother Madden on all her artwork. Her art was savaged by critics in her last show in New York City. She withdrew from the art world and spent her final years teaching students the basics of oil painting in a studio in her Stoneybrook home. Her art sold for six figures.

Her art is known for bright primary and secondary colors and minute detail. Her paintings were all the same size and shape which is ten by ten canvas. It's noted that there's a cat hidden somewhere in each of her paintings.

When Grandmother Madden showed her work in New York City for the last time, sales were disastrous and reviews brutally negative. After that show she destroyed all the paintings still in her possession. No artwork from that show or from any later date can be found. There as 22 paintings overall and only half were left.

It's later revealed by Claudia Kishi that she let her art students paint over her art pieces.

Trivia[]
