Hootie is Ms. Colman's second grade class's pet guinea pig.
Biography[]
The class decides to get him after agreeing that a guinea pig would be the best pet, rather than a rabbit or hamster. Hootie and Evelyn, the other class guinea pig, have babies in Karen's Grandad.
