Janet O'Neal is a sixth grader who attends Stoneybrook Middle School with members of the Baby-sitters Club. She shares classes with Mallory Pike and Jessi Ramsey.

She is best friends with Nan White. Along with Nan, Janet says mean things about Mal's dad losing his job in Poor Mallory!. Mary Anne Spier prank called her with Sam's pig farm joke.
She is also in Jessi's short takes class in Jessi's Horrible Prank.
