Then Karen gets a chain letter. It promises good luck and piles of postcards — if Karen answers quickly. Piles of postcards means piles of stamps, right? And good luck — what could be wrong with that? Karen wants to link up with this chain letter right away!
Summary[]
Karen has been collecting stamps lately. She gets a chain letter from Maxie Medvin that promises good luck if she sends a postcard to the top name and if she sends the letter to ten other people. But Watson doesn’t want Karen to give her address to strangers, so she answers the chain letter and uses Stoneybrook Academy’s address. But Watson and her teacher are angry about that, and it leads to other problems.
Will Karen’s good luck ever come?
