Kristy and the Triple Trouble

Kristy and the Triple Trouble is one of the seven The Baby-Sitters Club Mini Books that came with the 1993 Kenner BSC Dolls.

Mini book series premise[]

The stories contained in all seven mini books that came with the Kenner dolls were set on the same day, a Saturday, in the same location, the Washington Mall. Dawn, Mallory, Kristy and Mary Anne are responsible for charges, while Claudia, Stacey, and Jessi are at the mall on their own or with friends. In the stories (when mentioned), the characters are wearing the same outfits as their dolls.

Summary[]

Kristy is in charge of the Pike triplets during the BSC trip to the Washington Mall. They are running all over the mall, but fortunately Kristy brought her coach's whistle (that she uses when she coaches the Krushers) to keep the triplets on task. They are at the mall to buy them baseball gloves at Sportworld.

As the boys grab mitts to try on, Kristy hears a crashing sound. She discovers that the triplets are in the middle of a game at the back of the store, with Sportworld softball merchandise piled around them. Kristy tells them to clean up in four minutes or she won't buy them gloves. They comply quickly, and the clerk says that the owner has been thinking of expanding to include an equipment tryout room, and this event would help convince her. Kristy is relieved, and leaves to meet up with the others.
