Mrs. Florence Amer is a guidence counselor at Stoneybrook Middle School.
Biography[]
In Mary Anne and the Memory Garden she offers to set up grief counselors for students to come talk to when Amelia Freeman died in a car accident. She is on the stage with Howard Kingbridge when he makes the announcement to the school.
She is consulted when Dawn Schafer moves back to California for six months in Dawn's Big Move. It is presumed that she helps makes these arrangements for any students leaving or joining the school.
Mrs. Amer is one of the coordinators of the Teachers of Tomorrow program in Kristy in Charge.
She tells Claudia that she has to repeat the seventh grade in Claudia Kishi, Middle School Dropout and tells that she can move back to the eighth in Claudia Makes Up Her Mind.
