Mrs. Hall is an English teacher at Stoneybrook Middle School. She is seen throughout The Baby-Sitters Club series. She is first introduced in Claudia and the New Girl.
Biography[]
Mrs. Hall is Claudia's teacher in Claudia and the New Girl. It's noted in the book that she rarely uses her students last names. She uses the word "check" as a synonym for pop quiz. Her pop quiz is interrupted when Ashley Wyeth joins the class and Mrs. Hall welcomes her.
In Claudia's F̶r̶e̶i̶n̶d̶ Friend, she tells Claudia that she's in danger of failing English unless she improves her spelling and vocabulary.
Mrs. Hall fails Claudia in Baby-sitters' Haunted House despite giving her extra help. She gave Claudia an assignment to write a composition over the summer and if she did well, it would put her at a passing grade.
In Stacey and the Haunted Masquerade she is the head of the decorations committee. Stacey McGill is excited to work with her. She is eventually replaced by Mr. Rothman who wanted to get more involved with school activities. He also wanted to keep an eye on things after what happened at the last masquerade dance.
She is a chaperone in Aloha, Baby-sitters!.
