The Perkins family is a client of the Baby-sitters Club.
General[]
The Perkins move to Stoneybrook into the Thomases' former house on Bradford Court. Their house was next door to the Spiers until they moved into the Schafers' house after Mr. Spier got remarried. They now live next door to the Hobart Family.
They were first mentioned in Claudia and Mean Janine.
Their youngest daughter Laura was born in Hello, Mallory.
In Snowbound, the Vansants' are family friends, Mr. and Mrs. Perkins leave Claudia Kishi as the sitter. When the snowstorm gets worse, Mr. and Mrs. Perkins stay with them. Claudia was able to watch Myriah, Gabbie, and Laura for the night. Chewy accidently got locked in the basement and scared Claudia a little.

The house is described as a split level house in Logan Likes Mary Anne!.
Their backyard is fenced in because of their dog Chewy and his leash is kept in a mudroom. The house has four bedrooms. They have a ping-pong table that Mr. Perkins bought at the McGill Family's garage sale in Good-bye Stacey, Good-bye. There's a swing set in the backyard mentioned in Mary Anne and the Search for Tigger.

- The Perkins girls' first and last names are named after the real-life daughters of Ann M. Martin's childhood friend Beth McKeever. Kristy Thomas is modeled off of Beth while Ann is most like Mary Anne Spier.
- The kindle edition of Karen's Witch, is dedicated to "Laura Elizabeth, the newest Perkins."
- Mr. Perkins is a lawyer.
- The girls knows the words to White Christmas, I'll be Home for Christmas, and Blue Suede Shoes in Mary Anne and the Search for Tigger.
- The family has a friend who is a publisher and send them books, from cloth books to adult books in Claudia and the Great Search.
- R.C. is a brown tiger cat. He is lazy and doesn't really catch rats.
- Socks is a new kitten in Snowbound. He has orange fur everywhere except on his feet, which are white, so it looks like he is wearing two pairs of socks.
- Mrs. Perkins gives out candy apples for Halloween in Dawn and the Halloween Mystery.
