Polly's Fine Candy is a popular candy store in Stoneybrook. It is owned by a woman named Polly and her younger sister.

General[]

The store is famous all across Connecticut for delicious sweets and wonderful window displays. It has a red and white awning. Inside it has a gingerbread house in its window, a penny counter, and a cuckoo clock.

In The Truth About Stacey Charlotte asks Stacey to take her there during a trip downtown. Stacey thinks the shop is "pretty spectacular" and even calls it "a sort of fairyland," but also mentions Polly and her younger sister's unpleasant business manners.

Cathy Morris finds a job there after the Baby-sitters Agency fiasco.

The owners won first prize in the chocolatiers of America sculpting contest for their chocolate Mayflower display in Get Well Soon, Mallory!.

In Karen's Candy they start a candy-selling project. They raise money for a library that burned down in Stamford. Students sold candy to help them raise money. Those that sold the most bags would get gift certificate for Polly's.

They are part of the St. Patrick's Day Parade in Claudia and the Terrible Truth where they have a float.
