Pumpkin is the Brewer-Thomases' kitten who came into the family before Boo-Boo passed away.
Biography[]
Pumpkin is first introduced in Karen's Black Cat. Karen Brewer initially wanted an orange cat but her family picked the black one. Watson chose Pumpkin's name because it was Karen's name for the kitten.
In Abby's Un-Valentine, Karen mentions that there is some Siamese cat in her.
Pumpkin is said to be the family’s cat, but in some books she’s referred to specifically as Karen’s cat.
