Ron Carson is an athlete who is only seen in Karen's Swim Meet.

Biography[]

Charlie Thomas hears that Ron is back in town to open a sports sore and coach a swim team. He is an Olympic swimmer who has his trophies on display at the Stoneybrook Community Center. According to Karen Brewer, he went to high school with Ms. Colman. His swim team was advertised in the local paper.

He is strict and no nonsense. Ron admits that he is a very competitive person. He pretended to be nice in front of the parents when they came to watch practice. He also made the students practice when it was cold and rainy outside.

Ron told Terri Barkan to become a better swimmer and was not friendly to her about it, calling her out in front of the team. He was also yelling at her a lot. Then he scolds Karen for hanging out in the pool rather then practicing.

After being caught shouting at the kids and complaints, he resigned from being coach. Ron was expecting to coach a winning team instead of having fun. He formally apologized and left the team.
