The SMS Basketball Team is a sports team at Stoneybrook Middle School. They are primarily seen in Stacey and the Cheerleaders.
General[]
The Basketball team is called the SMS Chargers in Stacey and the Cheerleaders. Stacey McGill notes that they are very popular in the school and that they get special treatment. In the book, the team was number one. Totally undefeated. The Stoneybrook News, which never writes about SMS, had printed a big article about the team. The scores the last few weeks include: 64-59 over Mercer and 70-60 over Lawrenceville.
Robert Brewster quits the team over the treatment that he wasn't comfortable with, like teachers not grading fairly. Jason Fox even did homework for some of the players. Mr. Halvorsen coaches the team.
