The SMS Girl's Softball Team is the softball team at Stoneybrook Middle School. It is first used in Kristy and the Copycat and mentioned throughout the series.

Kristy Thomas decided to try out for the team in Kristy and the Copycat. The team is managed by Coach Wu who is noted to be particularly tough. Kristy learns some new techniques from her for the Krushers. Kristy, Dilys, Tonya, and Bea Foster are the only new people.
Kristy learns that the team hazes new recruits. The older girls had told Dilys, Tonya, Bea, and Kristy to graffiti the old equipment shed. Later, it had been burned down that night and Kristy and Dilys had blamed themselves for the fire. The older girls had told them that they would not be pulled in and let the softball team down, telling them that they were on their own if found out.
Later it's revealed that a group of students from Stoneybrook High School was responsible for the fire.
