Ted Morley is an eighth grade English teacher at Stoneybrook Middle School. He is just in Kristy Power! in the Friends Forever series.
Appearance[]
Kristy Thomas says he is young for a teacher. He’s probably around 25 and a big guy with black hair and big black beard. He has big hands, big feet, and a big old stomach. He’s kind of like a teddy bear.
Biography[]
He asks his students to call him Ted instead of Mr. Morley, he thinks people are talking about his dad otherwise. Ted replaced Mrs. Simon when her baby decided to come early. Kristy says that he assigns fun projects.
When he assigned an assignment to read a book of the students choosing, he passed out a list of recommended books. Some of the parents of the students were offended by the list and wanted to get him fired and censor his list. He had rumors going around about him being in prison or his lawyer was going to sue the school.
Eventually he gets suspended and the case looked into. The school hosts a hearing where people testified on his behalf. Rioko Kishi gave a speech about the first amendment at the hearing. Kristy Thomas speaks on the behalf of all the students in her class. All his students and the staff at SMS stood by his side.
Ted gets his job back in the end.
