The Baby-Sitters Club Wiki

The Claudia Kishi Club is a 2020 short documentary directed by Sue Ding. It explores the legacy of the character Claudia Kishi. Among the interviewed are Yumi Sakugawa, creator of the fanzine Claudia Kishi, My Asian-American Female Role Model of the 90's , Naia Cucukov, executive producer of the BSC Netflix show, and Gale Galligan, author and illustrator of five BSC graphic novels.

The film was funded through Kickstarter in 2018. It was supposed to be part of the SXSW 2020 line-up. After that festival edition was canceled, its shorts became available for free streaming.

The film is now exclusively on Netflix in honor of the Netflix series and released along side it. The documentary itself was taken offline.
